Privacy Policy

Information you provide. When you submit our contact form we collect the details you enter — your name, email address, company, and any optional property address, building size, and message.

Calculator usage. When you use our fine calculator, the building address you enter is sent to NYC GeoSearch and the NYC Open Data (Local Law 84) service to look up publicly available benchmarking records. You do not need an account, and we do not link these lookups to your identity.

Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.

We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, provide requested estimates and services, maintain our records, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

We share limited information with providers who help us operate: Microsoft (email delivery), Google Firebase (hosting), Google Analytics (usage measurement, as described below), and the City of New York's Open Data and GeoSearch services (public building data lookups). These providers process information on our behalf or under their own public-data terms.

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from (Google Analytics truncates and does not store full IP addresses), and what device and browser they use. We use this to improve the site, and for nothing else: Google Signals and ads-personalization features are disabled, we do not use analytics data for advertising or remarketing, and we do not sell it. Analytics events on this site never include anything you type — no addresses, emails, or building details.

You can opt out by blocking analytics cookies or scripts in your browser settings, or with Google's own opt-out browser add-on. The site works identically without analytics. Beyond this, the site does not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers; any other cookies are strictly necessary for the site to function.

We retain contact inquiries for as long as needed to respond and for our business records. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have provided by emailing umesh@ecosum.io.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
